Hello all!

Due to all the playing in darkness last year, we've
decided to shorten the EOY Tournament to just
two weeks, this Monday and the Monday after
Labor Day (weather permitting).

The Format has changed (hopefully for the better ;-) )
There will be an 'A' bracket and 'B' bracket, the
difference being that a team can win more money in
the 'A' bracket, but there will be payout for teams in *both*
brackets.

The brackets will be determined by the play on this Monday.
The top 7 teams (including ties ) will earn a place into
the 'A' bracket and the other 7 teams will be placed into the
'B' bracket.

Then, on the next Monday (after Labor day), the top 3 teams in
each bracket will win the payouts, with the 'A'
payouts being larger (Dana will determine that).

The scoring will change to be Team Points only.
Meaning there is no match play; All teams will be
playing against the course. For example:
Team 1
     player1   quota 6 shoots 8 +2
     player2   quota 4 shoots 5 +1
                      Team score        +3

Ties will be determined by overall league team wins (how
many times a team scored 2 or more points) and total team
points, using both flights for the calculations.  Bob ensured
me he add all this data! ;-)

Quotas will *not* change during these two weeks of play.

The advantage of "playing against the course" is it will
allow teams waiting for their matches  to tee off with other
waiting teams. Eliminating ten guys waiting around for three
scenario; When  you have a foursome, just go! But ...

You *must* play in a foursome for your scores to count!

Note: I will be sending out the usual match ups and quotas
to be used for scheduling purposes. Meaning, show up at your tee time!
If you don't you may be last to tee off...
