Hey Bob,
I am taking some classes at Granite State College. Writing academic papers has never been of of my "strong suits". If I give you just the title for some of my papers, in your spare time, could you whip out a few 4 to 6 page papers for me? Would be willing to pay you ( at least something ) for your writing skills.
Best regards,
Don

Subject: [NEAC GolfLeague] Monday's DNP?
So the story might be similar to historical facts, however, any athletic feats mentioned or implied are purely accidental.
One of our members, as you might recall, backed out of his match at the last moment yesterday. This caused a mild stir in the following few hours as the subs lined up to play knowing that said participant was no longer playing. While this was interesting banter during the afternoon it was what happened behind the scenes that history will pay attention to.
To some of us the nonsense of major league baseball and it's difficulties with the players union is tiring. The alleged use of performance enhancing drugs and the union's unwillingness to accept responsibility was/is too much to ignore. We saw the most recent example of this yesterday when Ryan Braun was suspended for the remainder of the season. So what does that have to do with us? Well, it's now here as well. The North End Golf League has a problem. To some it was nothing more than an occasional +4 over quota. More recently a +6. Even a +8 crept in there. Now it seems that busting your quota is "normal" for some. As players, much like the MLBPA of the past, we can't continue to fight this any more. Even if we won't talk about it we know it's going on. We can't continue to protect the guilty just because there may be a few innocent players. Gentlemen, the league has contacted George Mitchell to possibly look into this on
behalf of the commissioner. To studiously inspect each and every player, their habits, their scoring, their personal contacts, and yes even their special trips to Vermont, the Cape and Florida (Biogenesis?) for "golf vacations".
But while this internal investigation is beginning league-wide we cannot excuse or sweep under the carpet the blatant and perhaps rampant use of PED's by individual players. It was for this reason that Steve "Lats" Latvis was "asked" to serve a one week suspension yesterday. To allow the league time to look into the matter, to better understand how any one player might abuse the system. The league will honor the one week suspension and allow Mr. Latvis to return next week after completing the detox program that he entered yesterday. Upon successful completion and with a formal request to the commissioner, Mr. Latvis will be allowed to return to normal league play.
Cordially yours,
The System
