[NEAC GolfLeague] Week 5 of Fight 1 (redo)

Gentlemen:
I must say that I am very surprised at Mr. C suggesting that there was any "Dishonest" activity...as long as I have been in the league, the rule has always been that in order to collect your winnings, you must be present. Last year and as Mr. Dickson mentioned, the league was short at the end of the night. Mr. Dickson paid the extra $60.(+) out of his pocket, without whining about it...he stepped up to the plate, paid the difference and called it a day. I remain in favor of the understanding that if you don't or can't make the end of the year celebration, the left over winnings go towards paying the tab.

I don't remember what exactly happen last year... but I do remember
being short... which is the reason we bumped up the membership fee to
$60.00.
A fun time was definitely had by all!!! 8-)

I see do your point... but the main reason we donate the unclaimed winnings
to the cause is not to screw people... it's so we don't have to track
them down.
It is one thing if the winnings stay in the North End neighbourhood, but is
a whole another thing we have to track people down in Amherst,
south Nashua, Hudson, etc for a lousy $25.00... I really don't think we
should
commit to something like that... cause it probably will not happen... ;-)
So donating the winnings, I'm thinking, is the fairest way to handle it...
My two cents,
steved.
