[NEAC GolfLeague] The Second Flight

Hello,

Last Monday I mention that we were going to
end the first flight a week early (due to all the
rain outs)  but I got some pushed back on that...

Here are the standings:

Team 4 14.0
Team 1 13.0
Team 5 11.5

With two other teams at 11.0 and a couple teams in the 9s
(including me). So I realize it's probably not fair for these
teams to end it early but I'm also looking at other numbers
that might be better for the league overall.

If we end the first flight now, have another 6 week
flight and then a 4 week playoff that puts use ending
the Monday before Labor Day.

If we play this last week, Play another 7 week flight and
the playoff that puts us ending on the third Monday
with Labor Day interrupting our playoff as it always does.

To add some reference from last year, the first Monday in July
we were on week 2 of the 2ed flight

I'm also thing about moving the EOY Eastmans Outing
to the last weekend before Labor Day (Sat Aug 29).
The colors wouldn't  as vibrant, but hopefully it will be
a little warmer... ;-) But would coincide nicely with the
playoffs ending the Monday before Labor Day.

  One finally thing about playing deep into Sept is the
darkness. By ending it earlier will definitely help with that!

So unless I hear major objections or I'm miss something,
those are the final standings for the 1st fight and
think about Eastmans!
