Sadly one of our  neighbors and friends and the heart and soul behind the annual North End Turkey Bowl , Jack Crisp, suffered an unfortunate and tragic injury on late Saturday night/early Sunday morning , which has left him unconscious at the Leahy Clinic in Burlington, Mass. 

Problem: Jack runs a construction company and is single. While everyone remains optimistic, there are short term issues with finding and funding someone to step in for Jack in operating his business, keeping things afloat, etc and also costs incurred by his family who are bedside and staying in Burlington Mass 24/7.

Jack would not only give the shirt off his back for any of us in situations less dire, but give his entire set of flannel shirts and jeans and boots and his house if need be. You also know Jack would never ask for help.

While thoughts and prayers are critical, and a long term funding like “Go Fund Me” or a charitable fund might be in the future,  I just think for Jack, TODAY and NOW, we need to pass the hat for some immediate short-term help.

Morgan Hollis has agreed to open an escrow account for donations to be used for Jack and his family and to work with the family in whatever way might be most helpful. 

So let’s “Huddle Up” for Jack! Please. You can drop off your gift to Jack in the form of cash or check payable to “Gottesman & Hollis Escrow Account” with a notation “for Jack” on it at either Morgan’s house at 11 Bartlett or mail it to his office: Morgan Hollis.
