Hello all,

The can drive for year's Turkey Bowl is ON!!! Lets give back
to our community like we always have!

The side that brings the most cans takes home our Trophy! ;-)

Here are the details: 2020 Turkey Bowl Can Drive

A quick summary:
9am to 12am at the Neighbor's field (corner of Elliot St and Webster St.)
Bring cans to the field, Masked neighbors will unload your car
These Turkey Bowl cups will be given out: 2020 Turkey Bowl Cups

Dear East Sider,

For the past 13 years my note to all of you at this time of year has 
been a call to arms; a call for the bravest of the East Side to go into 
a friendly game with the West Side on the gridiron. Sadly, this year I 
am writing to you with the inevitable news that the North End Turkey 
Bowl is cancelled this year. We talked about the game but there was 
really no debate, we must do all we can to be safe even if it means 
missing one of my Thanksgiving day highlights...gathering as a 
community, connecting with neighbors, and yes the football game too. In 
the end it is a small price to pay, and we will pick it up next year.

However, all is not lost....each year as part of the festivities we have 
a can drive for the Nashua Soup Kitchen. This year in the Thanksgiving 
spirit and with your support, we'll bring it up a few notches. The need 
is great and giving back with all that is happening is comforting and 
makes me feel I am doing a small part to help our community.

*- Contest:* Cans will be counted to determine the score !!!. Whichever 
side donates the most cans will get the win and the Turkey Bowl Trophy!! 
(The East Side could use a win)

a fork lift)
