Greetings Fellow Duffers - 
Despite the unknown status of our home course I've been looking forward to this new golf season.  This year I promise to be better.  My mind is rested, my body is slightly worse for the wear, my anticipation is peaking.  I've completed my annual spring golf bag cleaning - lots of dead grass, broken tees, about $6 in change, two dead golf gloves, a laser finder with a dead battery, a USB cord for a Bluetooth speaker that I can't find, half of a rain suit (how does that happen?) and a broken umbrella.
I did manage to find 16 clubs (many of which I don't know how to use) that are all going into the car tomorrow as I prepare for the pending season.
I purchased 48 "mint" used golf balls and three new golf gloves.  I'm headed out to the range tomorrow with expectations of a great chipping game and a moderate putting and driving game.  Long irons and fairway woods are an issue.
What could possibly go wrong?
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone for my favorite pastime - wishful thinking about golf.
