Last Monday I mention that we were going to<br>
end the first flight a week early (due to all the<br>
rain outs)  but I got some pushed back on that...<br>

Here are the standings:<br>

Team 4 14.0<br>
Team 1 13.0<br>
Team 5 11.5<br>
<br>
With two other teams at 11.0 and a couple teams in the 9s<br>
(including me). So I realize it's probably not fair for these<br>
teams to end it early but I'm also looking at other numbers<br>
that might be better for the league overall.<br>
<br>
If we end the first flight now, have another 6 week<br>
flight and then a 4 week playoff that puts use ending<br>
the Monday before Labor Day.<br>
<br>
If we play this last week, Play another 7 week flight and<br>
the playoff that puts us ending on the third Monday<br>
with Labor Day interrupting our playoff as it always does.<br>
<br>
To add some reference from last year, the first Monday in July<br>
we were on week 2 of the 2ed flight<br>
<br>
I'm also thing about moving the EOY Eastmans Outing<br>
to the last weekend before Labor Day (Sat Aug 29).<br>
The colors wouldn't  as vibrant, but hopefully it will be<br>
a little warmer... ;-) But would coincide nicely with the<br>
playoffs ending the Monday before Labor Day.<br>
<br>
 One finally thing about playing deep into Sept is the<br>
darkness. By ending it earlier will definitely help with that!<br>
<br>
So unless I hear major objections or I'm miss something,<br>
those are the final standings for the 1st fight and<br>
think about Eastmans!<br>
